Getting from the plane to the pontoon
- Book with the boat's detailsPick the marina district in the form or type the marina name. In the note, give the yacht's name and the berth or meeting point from your charter papers.
- Meet at arrivalsAt Istanbul Airport (IST) and Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) there is a free meeting desk at arrivals: tell the staff your name and they take you to your driver. A name-sign Jet Meet & Greet is available for €10.
- To the marina gateThe driver goes as far as the marina lets cars go and unloads there. Gates and car access are the marina's rules, not ours.
- A number on boardAdd the captain's or the charter agent's phone number to the note, so the driver can ring ahead and someone from the boat meets you at the gate.
Crew changes and joining crew
Crew flying in to join a boat usually travel together with kit bags. A VIP Sprinter seats up to 16 with 10 bags in the luggage bay, and the price is still for the car, not per head. Book it under the yacht's name so the driver knows who to look for.
Our part, and the charter company's part
We drive people and luggage between the airport and the marina. Berths, provisioning, the boat and its crew are arranged by your charter company or the yacht's management; we have no agreement with any marina.
Which side of the water
Istanbul's marinas sit on both shores. Choosing the airport on the same side as the marina usually means a shorter drive and a lower fare, which is why Kalamış is cheaper from SAW and Ataköy is only priced from IST so far.
Boarding from a Bosphorus quay instead
If your charter company names a quay rather than a marina, for example in Beşiktaş, Ortaköy or Bebek, the airport to yacht page has those fares.
Marina transfer questions
Is Kalamış Marina closer to SAW or IST?
Kalamış is in Kadıköy on the Asian side, the same side as SAW. From SAW a Vito VIP is €60, from IST €75.
Why does İstinye say priced live?
We have no recorded fare for İstinye yet. Type the marina in the form and it is priced from the exact address, or ask on WhatsApp.
Do you drive between marinas?
Yes, on request. Rides between two city addresses are not priced online; send both on WhatsApp and we reply with the fare.
Can the whole crew ride in one car?
Up to sixteen people fit in a Sprinter or VIP Sprinter, with ten suitcases or kit bags in the bay.
Does our charter already include a transfer?
Some charter contracts do. Check yours before you book, so you do not pay twice.
Who confirms the booking?
We do, by email from info@marinatransfers.com, once the booking is confirmed.
