From Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) to the port
SAW is on the Asian side, so the drive to Karaköy crosses the Bosphorus. A route with no recorded fare is priced in the form before you give any details.

How embarkation day runs
- Book with the ship's nameChoose Galataport in the form and add the ship and the boarding time from your cruise documents in the note.
- Meet at arrivalsAt Istanbul Airport (IST) and Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) there is a free meeting desk at arrivals: tell the staff your name and they take you to your driver. A name-sign Jet Meet & Greet is available for €10.
- Straight to the portThe car is private: no other passengers and no hotel stops unless you ask for one. The driver unloads at the drop-off point cars are allowed to use.
- Cases go with youHand your luggage to the cruise line's own porters or check-in at the port. Your driver does not take bags inside the terminal.
Disembarkation day: from the ship to your flight
For the trip home, put Galataport as pickup and IST or SAW as drop-off. In the note, write the ship's name and the time your cruise line expects you to be off the ship; we confirm the pickup point with you on WhatsApp before the day. The driver waits 60 minutes at no charge.
Leave enough time between ship and plane
Your cruise line gives the disembarkation window, and the airline gives the check-in deadline. Plan between the two with room to spare: city traffic in Istanbul is hard to predict, and this page shows no drive time because we have no recorded figure we would stand behind.
A night in the city first
Many cruise guests land a day early. In that case book the airport to your hotel, then a short ride to the port the next morning. Hotel-to-port rides are not priced online: send the hotel name on WhatsApp and we reply with the fare.
The ship is in port for the day
If Istanbul is a port of call rather than the start or end of your cruise, a car and driver by the hour fits better than a transfer. A 4-hour block in a Vito VIP is €125; see chauffeur by the hour.

Where exactly is the cruise port?
Galataport is on the Karaköy waterfront in the Beyoğlu district, on the European side of the Bosphorus.
Which airport is better for Galataport?
Both work. From IST a Vito VIP is €75, from SAW €90. Choose the airport your flight uses; SAW is on the Asian side, so that drive crosses the strait.
Is the price per person?
No. It is for the whole car, up to six people in a Vito or Vito VIP and up to sixteen in a Sprinter or VIP Sprinter.
What if the disembarkation time changes?
The first 60 minutes of waiting are free. If the cruise line gives you a new time, message us on WhatsApp and we tell you whether the pickup can move.
Can we go from the ship to our hotel instead?
Yes, on request. Rides between the port and a city address are not priced online; send the hotel name on WhatsApp and we reply with the fare.
How do we pay?
In cash to the driver at the end of the ride, in EUR, USD, GBP, TRY. Nothing is charged online.
